When Aleksandar Marinkovic came to Malta his idea was to stay for three months in summer. “However, once I saw the opportunity here, I decided to continue working,” he explains.

The type of person that gets his hands dirty and a risk taker, once here he wanted to invest in himself and grow and build something. So, he decided to open Hi-Care Services and started to offer cleaning services as he saw a big demand in the Maltese market. “I went to clean domestic, commercial and common areas myself,” he says.

Within two months, he recruited other employees as Hi-Care was getting a lot of requests. He also received requests for outsourcing within the hospitality industry. The following year, in 2020, he managed to get more clients within the manufacturing and health industry. In 2021, he saw the opportunity to start handyman services.

“Now,” Mr Marinkovic says, “I am managing this company to constantly grow and improve.”
