In an upcoming webinar by the Central Bank of Malta, the future of retail banking post COVID-19 will be explored with John Cassar White, who will draw on his decades of banking experience to provide critically insightful replies to a question that many are asking.
During the webinar, set to take place on Microsoft Teams on 26th October at 11am, he will also take the opportunity to showcase some of the important work done by banking historian John Consiglio.
Mr Cassar White recently reviewed Mr Consiglio’s latest Insights on Financial Services Regulation, a book that analyses developments in the regulatory sector.
No newcomer to the sector, Mr Cassar White worked with a local bank for almost 40 years, serving for a number of years as its chairman.
He remains on the board of several regulated companies. A former lecturer at the Institute of Business and Commerce of MCAST, he is chairman of the Malta Fiscal Advisory Council and of the Supervisory Board of the Malta Development Bank.
While the webinar will be presented on October 26th at 11am, a recording will be available on the Central Bank of Malta website a few days later for those who are unable to follow it live.
Those who wish to attend are asked to send an email to [email protected] so that a TEAMS invite can be sent to them with the meeting link. There will be a limited amount of time for questions and answers after the presentation.
The lecture forms part of the series organised by the Library at the Bank.
