Valletta Legal is celebrating Anna Maria Zammit’s 13 years with the firm, a journey that began in 2011 when she joined as a student.
Over the years, she has progressed within the organisation, achieving significant milestones and becoming an integral part of its operations.
After earning her Doctor of Laws degree from the University of Malta in 2013, Dr Zammit received her warrant to practise law in Malta the following year. She went on to complete a Diploma in Financial Services Operations and Compliance in 2015 and has been a member of the Chamber of Advocates since 2016. Her dedication and skill led to her promotion to Senior Associate in 2017.
Dr Zammit’s career reflects a clear passion for corporate services and regulated activities. She began her legal work by vetting titles to immovable property and later specialised in advising MFSA-regulated entities, particularly in insurance and trustee and fiduciary services.
Her contribution to the firm reached a new level in 2022 when she was named an equity partner. This role allows her to actively shape Valletta Legal’s direction and future.
Reflecting on her career, Valletta Legal described Dr Zammit’s journey as "extraordinary" and celebrated her achievements as an inspiration to her colleagues.
