Several people are mourning the loss of Deloitte senior manager Luca Pace, who died yesterday at 33 from a sudden illness.

Mr Pace spent almost 13 years at Deloitte, most recently as a senior manager in its Global Employer Services team.

“Luca was a valued colleague and a friend to many of us,” Deloitte said.

“His absence will leave an indelible mark on our firm for years to come. We extend our heartfelt condolences to his family and loved ones during this very difficult time.”

Deloitte’s offices shall remain closed today and Monday 13th April.

Out of office hours, Mr Pace was a keen paddler and formed part of the Surfski Shack in Sliema.

“Luca was more than just a contributor to canoeing and surfski in Malta—he was a driving force, a visionary, and a pillar of our community. His passion, dedication, and countless hours of voluntary work helped shape the sport we all love today,” the Surfski Shack said.

“Whether on the water, at events, or behind the scenes, Luca’s presence was always felt, and his impact will live on for many years to come.”

Several people who knew Luca Pace have also posted tributes to him on social media.

We extend our deepest condolences to Luca Pace's relatives, loved ones, friends and colleagues in these extremely difficult times.
