After stepping into the National Statistics Office (NSO) for the first time in 2002, Eusebio Bezzina shared on LinkedIn that he is now embarking on a new challenge and leaving the NSO.
“Leaving a place where I spent a significant portion of my life was not an easy decision, but my time has come to seek growth opportunities and embrace a new challenge in life,” Mr Bezzina added.
At the NSO, he had the opportunity to work in several domains from tourism and price statistics to data management. His latest role at the office was that of Head of Human Resources and Staff Development. He also “had the honour” to represent the office as a National Expert for six “lovely years” when he worked with Eurostat, the Statistical Office of the European Commission in Luxembourg.
“The journey along the years allowed me to grow on a professional as well as personal level, learn from past mistakes and expand my horizons even further,” Mr Bezzina remarked.
He added that while saying goodbye is difficult, he is eager to see what the future holds. Mr Bezzina also quoted Roy T. Bennett when he said that “growth starts the moment you step out of your comfort zone."
