Tech.mt has opened an Expression of Interest for Malta-based startups interested in taking part in 4YFN Barcelona 2027, one of the world’s leading startup and innovation platforms, taking place from 1st to 4th March 2027.

Through this initiative, eight Malta-based startups will have the opportunity to participate in a Tech.mt-supported presence at 4YFN27, gaining international exposure while connecting with founders, investors, corporates and potential business partners from across the global technology ecosystem.

Participation is available at a €500 fee, with places strictly limited to eight startups.

4YFN is a leading platform for startups, designed to connect innovative ventures with the people, networks and opportunities needed to grow. Running alongside MWC Barcelona, the event combines a dedicated startup ecosystem with access to one of the world's largest and most influential technology gatherings.

The scale of the opportunity is reflected in the numbers. In 2026, 4YFN and MWC Barcelona welcomed 105,000 attendees, bringing together 1,000+ startups and exhibitors, €70bn+ in investor funds, 700+ curated meetings, 260+ startup pitches and 2,600 media and industry analysts.

For Malta-based startups, participation offers an opportunity to showcase their solutions on an international stage, build connections with investors and industry leaders, explore new markets and strengthen their global visibility.

Through this initiative, Tech.mt is creating a focused opportunity for Malta-based startups to access an international ecosystem and showcase the innovation coming out of Malta,” said Wayne Grixti, CEO at Tech.mt.

Startups interested in participating are invited to submit their Expression of Interest by 27th November 2026.

With only eight spaces available, startups are encouraged to register their interest early.
