The Windsor Hotel in Sliema will be auctioned on 10th June as ordered by Court, following a Civil Court case that involved Windsor Company Limited and Sovereign Hotels Limited, the registered owners of the property.

Newsbook reported that the auction is a result of unresolved financial obligations faced by Sovereign Hotels Limited. As a result, the court ordered the sale of the property to settle any outstanding debts.

According to a report by the architect and civil engineer Lino Micallef, The Windsor is valued at €8.4 million.

The hotel was built in 1995 and underwent renovations in 2002.

Located just 50 few metres away from the Sliema promenade, the hotel is found in Windsor Terrace, spread across two prominent streets: Sir Arthur Mercieca Street and Windsor Street.
