Rosette Thake has joined Citadel Insurance plc as an HR and Administration Manager.

Previously occupying the post of Knowledge Development Manager with Fenech & Fenech Advocates, and Fenlex Corporate Services, she is perhaps best known for her role as Secretary General with the Nationalist Party between 2015 and 2017, also occupying the post of Chairperson at the PN’s media company, Medialink Communications Ltd during the same period.

Professionally, Ms Thake describes her experience as having a proven track record in business change and development, management, HR advisory, teaching and training, and general administration.

Citadel Insurance was established in Malta in 1997, and a year later, became a composite insurance company after authorisation from the Malta Financial Services Authority to transact Life Insurance business.

The establishment of Citadel Insurance plc is a landmark in the history of insurance business in Malta, being the first conversion of an insurance agency into an insurance company.

The company was set-up following a number of years operating as an insurance agency, Citadel Insurance Services Ltd, established in November 1989. In October 2011, Citadel expanded its product portfolio by establishing its subsidiary Citadel Health Insurance Agency Ltd enrolled to transact health insurance products. In April 2016, Citadel Insurance strengthened its insurance offering to include private medical insurance as part of its product range.
