Business Profile

I started my working career in 1989, as a Quality Assurance (QA) Technician at the main laboratory. In 1996, I was promoted to Laboratory Officer leading a team of QA technicians. In the meantime, I pursued studies with the University of Malta, completing a Bachelor of Arts in Youth and Community Studies and a Master’s Degree in Human Resources Development and Performance Management with the University of Leicester (UK).

In 2006, I transitioned to the HR department of the Farsons Group, marking the beginning of a long tenure in HR functions. In 2010, I was promoted to HR Services Manager and in February 2024, I was promoted to Head of HR.

I oversee the Group’s HR strategy, people-related initiatives, and operational HR functions. I believe in working collaboratively across the different departments nurturing talent, playing a key role in developing and mentoring staff and in building strong relationships with employee representatives and unions.
