Business Profile

I started my insurance career as a broker in 1988, joining Island Insurance Brokers in 1990, handling the requirements of major commercial and corporate clients across all classes of insurance, including property and business interruption, accident, benefits, general liabilities, engineering, contract works insurance, professional indemnity, directors and officers liability, cyber, bankers blanket bond, electronic crime, and to a lesser extent, some aviation and marine. I held the position of General Manger of Island Insurance Brokers from 2007 to 2021. During this period Island experienced exceptional growth to become the largest Maltese insurance broker. In September 2021, Island merged with First United Insurance Brokers and changed its name to Antes Insurance Brokers. Now, as the General Manager of the Corporate and Advisory Division of Antes Insurance Brokers, my main responsibility is the servicing of corporate clients in all classes of insurance with a specialty in complex risks associated with financial institutions. I also serve on the Executive Committee of the Association of Insurance Brokers (Malta), am a member of the Chartered Insurance Institute of UK and a licensed Insurance Broker by the Malta Financial Services Authority.
