As Chief Financial Officer at Salvo Grima Group since 2024, I am responsible for overseeing the Group’s financial performance and ensuring that it successfully navigates the complexity of operating across several jurisdictions and locations.

Salvo Grima Group operates in eight countries in Europe and Africa, employing over 250 professional staff in the distribution, ship supply and travel retail sectors. The Group is family-owned and Malta-based but intensely global in outlook, reaching clients in over 50 countries.

My role includes managing the Group’s relationship with multinational banks, sourcing trade finance, analysing financial data and supporting the CEO and senior management with financial analysis, strategic planning, business development, compliance and risk management.

Due to the Group’s multinational operations across the international supply chain, my role also involves monitoring global trends, regional geopolitical and legal developments and advising the Group Board of Directors.

I have over 10 years of C-level experience and more than 30 years of senior level financial experience with multinational corporations in the manufacturing, logistics, distribution and services sectors in Europe, Africa and the United States.

In Malta, I previously held the post of Group Chief Operations & Financial Officer at Debono Group in Malta, where I was recognised by Toyota as part of the Toyota President’s Club of 2023.
