Business Profile

As CTO Melita IOT, I lead the dedicated network and development teams for the IoT division within Melita, melita.io. This focus on IoT gives an international dimension to the role; at the end of 2023, Melita was managing over 100,000 SIM cards, with 95 per cent of the activity beyond Malta.

In 2024, I will celebrate 25 years at Melita Limited, which I joined as a Network Engineer after gaining my B.Eng. (Hons.) in Electrical Engineering. I spent 15 years as Head of Core Networks, where I drove technical operations and projects across Melita’s broadband, mobile and fixed voice and TV services.

I hold an MSc in Networking Technologies & Management from Sheffield Hallam University, where I was awarded the prize for best overall performance. I have also completed the MBA Essentials from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and attended the CTAM Executive programme at INSEAD, France.
