Locally-trained compliance professional Paul Caruana Turner has been appointed Vice President of Compliance at Strive Gaming, a respected iGaming software supplier targeting US markets.

The company took to social media to announce his appointment on Wednesday, and said it was “delighted” by his addition.

A seasoned compliance professional, Dr Caruana Turner has broad experience in the iGaming industry, heaving held compliance roles at PressEnter Group, Betway and Nolimit City in the last year alone. Prior to entering the iGaming industry, he served Grant Thornton Malta as assistant manager for regulatory, corporate and financial services.

He also brings a strong educational pedigree to the role, including an MA in Financial Services, Banking, Corporate, Finance, and Securities Law. 

Additionally, he holds a Personal Management Licence from the UK Gambling Commission, meaning he is certified to hold management positions at UK licensed firms. He is also an approved Key Function Holder by the Malta Gaming Authority (MGA).

Amongst other things, his new role will require him to help ensure that all external and internal deadlines are met, produce timely reports to regulators and senior management, and review and advise on marketing materials to ensure they are adhering to laws and regulations that are applicable to the business.
