Chetcuti Cauchi Advocates on Monday shared the appointment of Senior Lawyer Natasha Cachia to Partner.

The announcement was first revealed during a private event for the law firm’s staff, where Managing Partner Jean-Philippe Chetcuti stated that she represents the values of Chetcuti Cauchi Advocates in “the strongest way”. He added that the company’s Partners can see her carry these values in “stewardship for the next generation”.

Dr Cachia first joined the law firm in 2018 as a Senior Associate managing the financial services practice, before she then moved to risk and compliance in 2020, the department she is now leading as Partner.

Dr Chetcuti remarked that Dr Cachia is “highly competent, pragmatic, open to discussion, and firm where necessary”, and at the same time also puts the firm’s people at the centre of her focus.

“I see a future with my colleagues and fellow professionals delivering to the highest standard whilst embracing the values that identify us as professionals, but above all, as human beings,” she explained.

She noted that she is “proud” to be working at the company, and is also “grateful for this opportunity”.

Dr Cachia graduated with a Doctor of Laws in 2008 and also achieved a Master of Arts in Financial Services in 2012, both from University of Malta. She is also part of the Maltese Bar.

Over the course of her career, she has assisted clients from various business sectors with corporate law and commercial matters, including company law advice, commercial and contract law, tenders and corporate and M&A transactions. Dr Cachia is highly experienced in the Company Service Provider (CSP) and Trustee sector through her past experience at Amicorp Malta Limited.
