John Magro, Chairman of the Magro Brothers Group of Companies, is celebrating his 70th birthday today.
Together with his brother, Mr Magro took over the running of the family business in 1977 and went on to build a diversified group comprising 20 companies spanning food processing and importation, retail, real estate, and construction.
The Magro Brothers’ roots date back to 1916, when three Magro brothers joined their father, who was already a leading general provision merchant, to establish what has since become one of Gozo’s most recognised family enterprises.
In a tribute shared on its social media channels, the Group said: “Warm 70th birthday wishes for more years of good health to John Magro"
