Louis Montebello announced on Monday that he has joined electronics leader Methode Electronics as Facilities and Internal Logistics Manager. In his new role he will be leading a team of professionals with electrical and mechanical expertise whose main role is to ensure that the facility’s physical plant and infrastructure are maintained and operating efficiently.

Dr Montebello, a graduate from both Maastricht School of Management and Northumbria University, has seen his career mature and develop at STMicroelectronics where he spent the bulk of his career. Indeed, his journey with the company over 30 years ago started as a QFP Assembly Production coordinator and has ended with him being promoted to Facilities Director.

Dr Montebello also served on an Engineering Board between 2000 and 2008, specifically on the advisory board to the Ministry responsible for the engineering profession. In the academic year 2004-2005 he also lectured at the University of Malta on MRP, Logistics and Operations Management.
