A casino in St Julian’s has been robbed of almost a quarter million euros €250,000 over a period of three years.

Three men were involved in the theft of almost €250,000, one of whom was employed by the same company.

A statement released by the police said that an investigation was launched at the beginning of the year after company officials reported abnormal winnings by an employee and two other clients. All three men are of Bulgarian nationality and reside in Malta.

The robbery scheme reportedly took place between October 2017 and January 2020. The three men will be arraigned later today.
