Maltese fashion brand and Charles & Ron, self-titled after design duo Charles and Ron Van Maarschalkerweerd Borg has been making waves in the local and international fashion scene for some time, with international celebrities choosing to wear their designs, and showcasing their creations on a number of international publications and campaigns. 

Now, Ron, designer and creative director at Charles & Ron, has taken to social media to reveal the latest development in the local designers’ journey.

“Charles & Ron is now available at Flying Solo, West Broadway, New York,” he writes in his post, referencing a collaboration which has been in the pipeline for some time.

In exclusive comments to WhosWho.mt, Ron describes Flying Solo as a boutique style store in New York for Independent designers, saying “we had been planning to work together for a few years, but somehow it never happened, until now.”

The creative director reveals that the New York boutique currently have part of Charles & Ron’s Spring/Summer 2020 Womenswear collection available in store. “It's great to have this opportunity and to be part of an exciting platform in the heart of Soho New York,” he says.
