Project management and business analysis veteran Kerstin Rizzo has been named Senior Project Manager at Floriana-based Bee Insurance Management Ltd, she announced on Friday.

In doing so, she leaves her position as Chief of Product at eCabs Company Ltd after a “wonderful four-year journey”, during which she worked on a number of “challenging and exciting projects”. Ms Rizzo thanked the company’s Board of Directors, as well as its dynamic workforce for “all the interesting opportunities”.

Ms Rizzo’s vast experience in project management includes five months as Programme and Project Manager at IT solutions provider Harvest Technology plc and over a year-and-a-half at technological solutions firm PTL Ltd. She also served as Project Manager at Malta Information Technology Agency (MITA) for six years, during which she specialised in education implementation of eLearning, agriculture and fisheries, as well as structural funds. Ms Rizzo also worked as Project Leader at Malta Information Technology and Training Services Ltd (MITTS), for seven years, before its operations were absorbed by MITA in 2008.

Among her wide array qualifications and certifications, Ms Rizzo holds a Bachelor of Science in Computing and Chemistry from University of Malta, while also being a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) from Scrum Alliance.

Bee Insurance Management was the first insurance management company to be licensed in Malta in 1998 and is part of MAPFRA Middlesea Group. It provides feasibility studies, incorporation services, as well as a range of insurance management services, acting as a “trusted advisor” throughout the whole process by working closely with its clients to deliver their expectations.
