IZI Finance plc, the finance arm of IZI Group (stylised as IZIGROUP), has announced that it intends tap the primary bond market to the tune of €30 million, with the funds raised being used to support its international expansion.
The group said it has “already identified a number of feasible and well-advanced international growth opportunities,” with the new bond issues designed “to provide the financial latitude required to pursue them in a disciplined and sustainable manner.”
IZIGROUP holds concessions for the National Lottery and the Dragonara Casino. It also operates a number of gambling parlours under the IZIBET bet.
The group has seen notable growth in recent years, registering a 175 per cent increase in profit before tax in 2025 to reach €7.1 million – well above its own projections.
Its latest forecast, released in late November 2025, projects total gambling revenue to top €1 billion, fuelling a 25 per cent increase in profit before tax, which is expected to hit €8.9 million.
IZIGROUP has long eyed international expansion, saying in December 2024 that it is strongly focusing on opportunities in historical horse racing, land-based casinos, and video lottery terminals.
In its latest announcement, the group said it will shortly be submitting an application to the Malta Financial Services Authority for admission to listing of up to €30 million in unsecured bonds, redeemable in 2036.
Subject to obtaining the necessary regulatory approval, the newly issued bonds will be available to all categories of investors.
