Hili Finance has announced that its €50 million bond issue has been over-subscribed in just four days, with the offer period closing on 17th February.
The bond offer opened on 14th February, and was meant to continue until 4th March.
In a statement posted to the Malta Stock Exchange, Hili Finance Company plc said it is “pleased to announce that its offer of €50,000,000 4 per cent unsecured bonds 2027 with a nominal value of €100 per bond and issued at par guaranteed by Hili Ventures Ltd has been over-subscribed and offer period closed earlier today the 17th February 2022”.
The company also took to Facebook to celebrate the news.
"Hili Finance plc’s €50 million bond issue has been fully subscribed with great response from Malta’s investor community. Thank you for your support!" it said.
In view of the strong interest by local investors, the Intermediaries’ Offer contemplated in the Prospectus shall not take place.
Announcement of basis of acceptance of the bonds will be communicated by the company by latest Thursday 24th February 2022.
Hili Finance said it wishes to thank the investing public and authorised financial intermediaries for their “tremendous support” in the bond Issue.
