Geoffrey Camilleri has been appointed Chief Financial Officer and Company Secretary of Premier Capital plc, with effect from 4th January 2021, the company announced via the Malta Stock Exchange.

Premier Capital plc is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Hili Ventures Limited and through its subsidiaries, operates McDonald’s restaurants in Estonia, Greece, Latvia, Lithuania, Malta, and Romania.

Mr Camilleri takes over from Dorian Desira, who resigned from the post of CFO and Company Secretary with effect from the same date, 4th January 2021.

Mr Desira will take on the role of non-executive director with the company. He will also be taking on the position of Director for 1923 Investments, another subsidiary of Hili Ventures.

He has worked across the organisation for more than 20 years, holding various finance roles across its companies.

Mr Desira holds a CPA warrant and is a fellow of the Malta Institute of Accountants and the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.

To take on the role of CFO with Premier Capital, Mr Camilleri has resigned from his position as Director of Hili Properties and 1923 Investments, both subsidiaries of Hili Ventures.

Mr Camilleri is a Certified Public Accountant and worked within the Assurance and Business Advisory division of PricewaterhouseCoopers in Malta before occupying various governance and finance roles in private industry. He joined Hili Ventures in 2014 and held the role of Chief Financial Officer from 2016 to 2020.
