On Monday, Lufthansa Technik was shocked to the core after learning about the passing of beloved colleague and friend, Ettienne Attard.
The company CEO Maria Cilia expressed her sadness over the passing noting that everyone loved him and “the world is not and will not be the same” without him.
“A big hug dear Etienne,” Lufthansa CEO Maria Cilia concluded.
Many shared the same sentiment. While sending condolences to his wife and children, many colleagues commented on his lively personality, how he lit up everywhere he went and how he was a dedicated worker.
“We lost a colleague at Lufthansa, a friend who had a heart of gold. He helped and managed to put a smile on everyone he spoke to. We are all shocked and speechless. You’ll remain forever in our hearts Etienne,” one colleague wrote.
A former colleague thanked him for being a nice friend and foreman when he was in Malta, in 2018.
