Stephanie Buhagiar, a Research Executive with Malta-based research company Esprimi, tragically lost her life some days ago.

Taking to social media to bid Ms Buhagiar farewell, Esprimi wrote:

“She was the master of to-do lists and never rested until she saw a project through. She kept us in check and made sure no deadline was ever missed. She took every new challenge within her stride and made things happen.

“But most of all, we will remember Steph as a friend, a woman who was sweet, determined, resilient and driven. She has taught us many things at work but the most important lesson she taught us is in the way she tackled her illness. Stephanie, we salute you and we choose to believe that you are now shining up above, free from pain and watching over us.

It is understood that Ms Buhagiar, a beloved figure in the local business community, lost her battle with cancer, which led to her passing.

Esprimi CEO, Morgan Parnis, also took to social media to commemorate Ms Buhagiar, adding onto the company message by writing: “I will miss you.”
