Artificial intelligence entrepreneur Gege Gatt said he is “humbled and truly honoured” after winning an award at the 12th edition of the UK Enterprise Awards.

The EBO.ai Founder and CEO said the recognition is “a testament to the hard work and dedication of the entire team.”

The UK Enterprise Awards celebrate the “movers and shakers of the UK technology sector.”

“Uniquely focused on the founder rather than the businesses themselves, the Enterprise Awards boasted previous winners that have achieved prominence on both private and public markets. The judging panel is looking for examples of vision, growth, innovation, funding, use of capital, use of resources, strategy, execution, ambition and determination to succeed.”

The awards, held at Drapers’ Hall in the City of London, “underscore the vital role technology has in fostering positive change,” said Dr Gatt.

“It is a reminder to leverage technology not merely for profit, but also as a force for good, to create solutions that benefit society at large.”

EBO.ai works with the UK’s National Health Service (NHS) by providing a virtual assistant for patients.

Dr Gatt believes that using Conversational AI and automation can facilitate patient interactions with healthcare providers while alleviating the strain on the NHS workforce, allowing more attention to be directed toward patient care.
