Malta-based Together Gaming plc on Tuesday (today) announced that David Bonnett, the company’s Director, and legal judicial representative, has resigned. Subsequently, Together Gaming appointed Andrew Zarb Mizzi and Jonas Amnesten to fill his roles.
Both Mr Zarb Mizzi and Mr Amnesten were appointed Non-Executive Directors and legal and judicial representatives of the company, with effect from 19th February.
They will oversee the general governance of the company, its proper administration and management, and the supervision of its affairs. Mr Zarb Mizzi will also form part of the Company’s Audit Committee.
Mr Zarb Mizzi was appointed by the Board of Directors in accordance with the company’s articles of association to fill Mr Bonnett’s position. While Mr Amnesten was appointed by the Company’s majority shareholder, Gameday Group plc.
Mr Amnesten has a Master’s Degree in Finance with Stockholm Business School along with a wealth of experience in the gambling industry.
Concurrently, he is Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of the group’s parent company Cherry with Friends AB. He started working at Cherry Group in 2012 as a Business Controller and eventually as the Head of Finance, during a period which saw the group expanding with the online segment.
He also worked within investment banking as an analyst with a focus on the gambling industry as well as mergers and acquisitions at Marketzoo.
On the other hand, Mr Zarb Mizzi has held numerous senior executive management positions within the financial services industry over the past 25 years covering brokerage, asset management, eforex, custody and depositary services.
He holds a Masters Degree in International Business.
Together Gaming is a cloud-based platform solution licensed in different jurisdictions and currently powering more than 50 brands, including Bethard. It is one of the subsidiaries within the Gameday Group plc, who was recently acquired by Cherry With Friends AB.
