The Imperial, located in the very heart of Sliema, is a private care home which opened its doors in 2021 The complex offers a variety of different accommodation options as well as 6,000 square meters of facilities and a three-storey underground car park.

The Imperial provides various services within the home to residents, guests, as well as to the surrounding community, thereby encouraging residents to remain active and connected to society. The Residence has a coffee shop at the main entrance, a shop for daily goods and a hair and beauty salon. The striking Victorian double staircase leads from the reception lobby to an upstairs area dedicated to entertainment and events. In the middle of the premises, one cannot miss the picturesque courtyard with its hanging gardens, and pond with swans, which surrounds a two-storey-high aviary.

At The Imperial, the team focuses on the individual needs and wishes of each resident, enabling the resident to retain as much independence as possible whilst knowing that care is on hand 24 hours a day, as and when it is needed or requested. Qualified nurses are on site 24 hours a day and a multidisciplinary medical team is involved in setting up individual care plans. All meals are prepared in-house with residents enjoying room service breakfast and being served lunch and dinner à la carte in our dining hall. Menus made from fresh local produce cater for all dietary requirements and include the seasonal specialities

A full weekly programme of activities keeps the residents’ agenda busy with crafts, live music, dance sessions, physical training sessions, concerts and outings. Encouraging a healthy and active lifestyle, The Imperial provides a Wellness Centre, including an indoor hydrotherapy pool with changing rooms and showers, a fitness gym, a physiotherapy area and physiotherapy clinics, a Thai massage studio and various fitness classes throughout the week.
