Forming part of the Cassar & Cooper Group founded in 1946 by Mr Frederick Cooper and Mr Anthony Cassar, BAS established itself as a pioneer in air transport. Obtaining the first commercial air transport licence in 1948, BAS operated commercial passenger flights to Catania, Rome, Naples, Palermo, Tunis, Tripoli and Cairo.

Today, BAS offers a full range of air, land, sea and rail freight services. These services support bespoke logistics solutions that include Warehousing, Third Party Bonded Warehousing, Customs services, Multimodal transport, and GDP compliant services to the pharmaceutical industry. We do this by partnering with world class organisations such as DHL Global Forwarding who we have represented these past 20 years.

BAS also offers airlines representation as General Sales Agents giving them the opportunity to benefit from our knowledge of the air freight market in Malta.
