A new aircraft will soon be joining the KM Malta Airlines (KMMA) fleet. Sharing a sneak peek of the Airbus A320neo, KMMA Chief Operations Officer and Accountable Manager Declar Keller stated that the aircraft is getting its final touches.
“This stunning aircraft will be with us shortly,” he added.
Registered as 9H-NEG, the aircraft was produced in Toulouse, France, and is brand new. The aircraft averages 168 total saleable seats with up to 36 business class seats. It offers superior operating economics and better environmental performance with reduced CO2 emissions per passenger and lower noise pollution.
The Airbus A320neo is one of the most popular aircraft families in the world. First launched in 2010, over 10,500 aircraft have been ordered.
Excluding the new aircraft, KMMA has amassed a fleet of eight aircraft since its establishment, consisting of seven Airbus A320neo and one Airbus A320-200. Its most recent aircraft was delivered in July 2024.
KMMA started operations on 31st March 2024 as Malta’s national airline after its predecessor, Air Malta, ceased operations the day before.
