Bank of Valletta has announced the appointment of Izabela Banas as its Chief Financial Officer, effective from 1st March 2021.

The appointment is subject to regulatory approval.

This comes after the 5th January retirement of former BOV CFO, Elvia George. In the interim, Marisa Abdilla had taken up the role.

About Izabela Banas

Ms Banas has worked in various senior positions within the finance teams of a number of renowned international organisations, including General Electric Company, Elster Group, Willis Group and Credit Suisse Group. Prior to joining Bank of Valletta, She occupied the position of Managing Director CFO – EMEA Private Banking and Global Private Banking COO at HSBC Group, London UK.
