Over the past year, Bigbon Group has made significant investments, expanding its offering in the southern region of the island with the opening of five new flagship stores – Bershka, Pull&Bear, Stradivarius, Oysho and Massimo Dutti – at Shoreline Mall, and completely refurbishing its Massimo Dutti store at The Point Shopping Mall.
These investments strengthens Bigbon Group’s local presence while reinforcing its commitment to delivering high quality retail spaces that merge design, technology, and sustainability.
The latest flagship stores showcase the brands’ most advanced store concepts, integrating cutting edge technology and contemporary design to enhance the customer experience.
The project was led by architect Matthew Cachia Caruana, who managed the design and build execution, in collaboration with Ing. Ryan Callus, responsible for the mechanical and electrical (M&E) design and installations. Together, they ensured that all developments adhered to LEED certification standards, guaranteeing energy efficiency and environmental responsibility at every stage.

Sustainability is central to Bigbon Group’s ongoing efforts to reduce its environmental impact. The newly developed stores integrate advanced energy efficient systems and environmentally responsible practices to ensure long-term sustainability.
A key feature across all stores is the Building Management System, which optimises energy consumption by adjusting lighting and air conditioning based on real-time operational needs. This intelligent system plays a crucial role in reducing each store’s carbon footprint while also generating long-term financial savings.
In line with its sustainability strategy, Bigbon Group has also introduced Water Conservation Measures and Energy-Efficient Water Heating Systems, further enhancing resource efficiency across all its retail spaces. These initiatives align with LEED certification requirements, reinforcing the company’s commitment to industry-leading sustainability standards.
With the growing importance of Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles, Bigbon Group is determined to remain at the forefront of responsible business practices.
