Elizabeth Pulo on Friday announced that she has been appointed Events and Project Manager at entrepreneurship education programme provider JA Europe.

Her new role comes after five years at JA Malta Foundation, where she had initially joined as Programme Coordinator - Events & Operations, before she was then promoted to Operations Manager, a position she was entrusted with for more than two years.

“One journey leading to another! The last five years with JA Malta Foundation have provided me with the space to innovate in entrepreneurship education for Malta, combining two main passions of mine: youth and non-formal education,” she explained. She remarked that this experience was key to her next “chapter” with JA.

JA Europe is Europe’s largest provider of entrepreneurship education programmes, bringing the public and private sectors together to provide youths in primary and secondary schools as well as early university with “high-quality education programmes” that focus on enterprise, entrepreneurship, business and economics in a practical way. JA Malta Foundation was established in Malta in 1989 with the aim of providing entrepreneurship education programmes to all levels of the educational system. The two organisations form part of JA Worldwide, a global network that for over 100 years has created pathways for “employability, job creation, and financial success”.

“Super excited for the new challenges to come while part of the European team creating so many opportunities to inspire and prepare youths across the European network to succeed,” Ms Pulo continued.

“Big dreams start with small steps,” she concluded.

Aside from JA Malta, Ms Pulo also has experience as Activities Leader at EF Education First, and as Director’s Assistant at N-Serve. She was also National Vice-President for Marketing and National Vice-President for Incoming Global Talent and Business Development Manager at AIESEC in Malta, a network aimed at helping young people develop their leadership potential.

She holds a Master in Creativity and Innovation and a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Business Management, both from University of Malta.
