AX Group has recently launched Verdala Terraces, a complex of 87 luxurious residences located on the Tal-Virtu ridge in Rabat.

The complex offers access to various upscale amenities and what the company describes as “privileged front row seats to some of the most breathtaking scenery in all of Malta’s countryside”.

It houses a range of one-bedroom to four-bedroom residences, together with panoramic mansions and duplexes, some of which feature private pools. Residents can choose from the Royal Mansions and the Grand Mansions, set either side of the new five-star hotel and wellness spa. Additionally, they also have a selection of different sizes, layouts, and orientations, allowing them to find “the perfect fit for their lifestyle and preferences”.

AX Group stated that the residences are ideal for individuals who “appreciate the finer things in life as much as they do nature, community, and a sense of belonging” to a neighbourhood that is alive with restaurants, cafés, boutique shops, and iconic cultural and historical landmarks.

The company confirmed that the construction of both the Royal and Grand Mansions is now complete and prospective buyers have the option of acquiring homes with a selection of finishes, “ensuring a truly lavish living experience reflecting their unique preferences”. AX Group adds that great care has been taken to ensure the Verdala Terraces remains “in step with the heritage of Rabat and Mdina”, with the development’s exterior being purposefully designed to complement the surrounding townscape and rural countryside. Additionally, newly opened public piazzas and landscaped gardens are set to make the destination one that is “intended to be enjoyed by everyone”.

AX Group Chairman Angelo Xuereb said: “Through the Verdala, we have sought to introduce even greater levels of innovation and creativity in terms of structural design, building materials, and aesthetic beauty.”

“Each residence within the Verdala Terraces is designed to offer prospective clients high-quality finishes and exceptional attention to detail. Our commitment extends beyond the interiors, as we have taken great care to create external common open spaces, fostering a sense of community,” he added.

Through its Special Designated Area (SDA) status, both EU and non-EU nations looking to purchase a luxurious property in Malta can acquire properties at the Verdala Terraces with the same acquisition rights as Maltese citizens.

In addition to this, the company stated that residents can customise their living space through a selection of doors, tiles, and bathroom fixtures, to “make their homes truly their own”. Residences feature high-quality glazed aperture doors and windows together with insulated walls, floors and ceilings between residences, while all bathrooms are equipped with underfloor heating. Existing and prospective clients can gain a firsthand experience of life at Verdala Terraces through a show apartment within the Royal Mansions that has recently been completed.

The development also features a number of amenities for residents, including an outdoor stand-out infinity pool, as well as landscaped gardens, 24-hour security, a dedicated concierge, storage options, car spaces and garages.

The development is spearheaded by AX Group in collaboration with C&K Architects, who have contributed to the development through their visionary expertise.

AX Group’s diverse portfolio is comprised of award-winning hotels, luxury residences, the Hilltop Gardens Retirement Village, and various other landmark developments. During its over forty years of operations, it has also made significant contributions to various national projects, including the frame structure of the Parliament building and the rehabilitation of the Valletta Waterfront.
