APS Bank has announced the tragic passing of James Buttigieg, who was a “dear colleague and friend” to its team.
Sharing news of his passing on Thursday, the bank described the employee as a “well-loved and respected” professional, who will be “sorely missed” by both clients and his colleagues in the Commercial Banking Department.
As a professional, APS stated that the individual was “highly respected for his competence and the passion he had for building strong relationships with clients.”
On a more personal level, the bank added that Mr Buttigieg’s friends knew him as a “reserved, humble man, who dedicated himself to the well-being of his family.”
He is also described as an “avid” supporter of the Balzan Youths football club, and his keen interest in current affairs “would often by the subject of the daily banter [he] would enjoy with his team.”
The bank gave its condolences to Mr Buttigieg’s family and loved ones, wishing them the strength to cope with their sudden loss.
The funeral mass will be held on 5th March at 8:30am, at the Annunciation of Our Lady Parish Church in Balzan.
