Seasoned finance professional Anthony Spiteri has been named Finance Manager at commercial vehicle and industrial machinery supplier Burmarrad Group, he announced on Monday.
Prior to this, he was a Senior Associate in Finance at corporate and fiduciary services provider Zeta for almost three years, and a Deputy Finance Manager at Chetcuti Cauchi Advocates' tax advisory section.
Mr Spiteri also served as Semi Senior Auditor at accounting firm Raymond J Vella for more than six years.
He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree in Accounts and Management from University of Malta and is proficient in financial reporting and auditing.
Established as a family business in 1984 by Mario Gauci, Burmarrad Group started out as a used commercial vehicle importer. Over the years, it has grown to become Malta’s largest supplier of new and used vans, trucks, special purpose vehicles, cars, warehouse equipment, and industrial machinery. It is the official distributor and service partner of a number of brands, including Carrier Transicold, Chereau, and Dhollandia.
