Seasoned communication designer Andreas Azzopardi announced on Tuesday that his time at Malta-based iGaming firm Casumo has come to an end after four years.

“It has been an incredible experience filled with everything I could have ever asked for,” Mr Azzopardi said.

Over the course of his time at the company, he worked as Senior Communications Designer before also being entrusted as Product Designer, a role he held for almost two years. “Progressed in my craft going from communications to product design, grew on a personal level as an individual and most importantly, met incredible humans that today I call my best friends,” Mr Azzopardi added.

He thanked everyone at Casumo for “making this journey truly special", adding that he has “no words” to describe how grateful he is.

Mr Azzopardi started his journey in communication design at advertising agency TBWA\ANG as a Graphic Designer Intern, before moving to recruitment specialists Konnekt as a Graphic Designer, a position he stayed in for a year. This was followed by spells at creative branding agency Blonde and Giant Ltd and design agency Bloom Creative, both as Creative Designer. Mr Azzopardi also served as Senior Creative Designer and Educator at ICT training facility ICE Malta Ltd for three years, during which time he mentored and helped students “change their career paths”.

He holds a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Graphic Design from MCAST’s Institute for the Creative Arts and is an Adobe Certified Associate in a number of areas, including Graphic Design and Illustration using Adobe Illustrator.
