Jean Paul Attard’s time as Director at entrepreneurship educational organisation JA Malta Foundation has come to an end after eight years, he shared on Thursday.
“All good things come to an end,” Mr Attard announced. He described his time at the organisation as a “privilege” and an “honour”, particularly being part of the team that was “crowned with the JA Europe Model Nation award for four consecutive years”.
“Above all, the energy and gratification derived from seeing hundreds of students successfully completing the various JA Malta educational programmes in entrepreneurship over these past eight years, made the journey an unparalleled and enriching experience,” he added.
Launched in Malta in 1989, JA Malta is a non-governmental, non-profit organisation that provides entrepreneurship education programmes “at all levels of the education system”. It is a part of JA Worldwide, which works with businesses, schools, and organisations to deliver learning programmes on areas of work readiness, financial literacy, and entrepreneurship.
Apart from his role at JA Malta, Mr Attard is Head of Operations at National Development and Social Fund, where he is primarily tasked with assisting the CEO in the execution of its strategic objective and initiatives. He is also a Member of both the Cultural Heritage Advisory Committee and the Scholarships Appeals Board at the Ministry for the National Heritage, the Arts and Local Government and Ministry for Education, Sport, Youth Research and Innovation respectively. Mr Attard is also a Member of the Executive Committee at London-based Institute of Financial Services.
Additionally, he is also a Visiting Lecturer at both the Institute of Leadership & Management and The London Institute of Banking & Finance (LIBF).
