Tech and creative company 9H has launched 9H Expert-Led Advisory, an operator-led service that works directly with CEOs, boards and leadership teams to find the problems that matter and see the solutions through to results.
AI and technology are moving faster than most organisations can keep up with, but for 9H the technology is never the starting point. The business problem is. Leaders need advisers who understand that problem, know what the technology can do, and stay involved through implementation.
9H built its track record as a product and engineering partner, and its advisory service takes that experience into the boardroom. The people advising have built and shipped the kind of solutions they recommend, and they stay accountable once the decision is made.
Zak Borg, Director at 9H, said: “Bring us the problems that matter. We'll bring the people and the technology to solve them.”
How it works
Each engagement starts with a diagnostic of around three weeks. It shows where growth still depends on adding people, and which national and Malta Enterprise funding measures could help pay for the change. The build follows in the systems the business already runs, with funding applied for from the start.
A different kind of team
9H Expert-Led Advisory is led by Andrew Camilleri Micallef, a technology architect and transformation specialist who spent more than five years at Deloitte Digital. Each problem gets its own small specialist team, and AI is part of how those teams research, analyse, test and build.
Andrew Camilleri Micallef said: “Knowing what should be built and knowing how to build it are usually two conversations with two different suppliers. We bring them into one room, and stay in it until the thing works.”
