RE/MAX Malta on Friday (today) mourned the loss of former employee Patrick Spiteri, who passed away on Thursday at the age of 67.

Mr Spiteri had worked with RE/MAX Affiliates Professionals Fgura since 2007, and was the first associate in this office, having obtained a number of years of experience in the real estate industry.

“It’s not easy to put to words what we’re feeling right now,” RE/MAX Malta said in a social media post.

“Your energy was truly unique. A genuine person, with the purest of intentions. Your smile lit up the room, and those cheeky comments had everyone asking your name whenever you weren’t around,” it continued.

RE/MAX Malta stated that the team had so much respect towards him, describing him as a “gentleman who showed up and gave his utmost even when times were hard.”

“Patrick, we’ll cherish your memory for a lifetime. Our gratitude towards your loyalty is beyond these few words,” it said, before expressing condolences to his family, relatives and friends during this difficult time.

As a tribute to him, the company also shared its Christmas promotion from 2023, where Mr Spiteri had played the role of the grandfather in the video.

“We just have to share this one more time, your character was adored by so many Pat [Mr Spiteri]!” RE/MAX Malta added.

Mr Spiteri was a well-known figure in his hometown of Paola, where he was formerly a player and supporter of the local football club Hibernians FC, as well as President of the Lourdes Band Club.

The two organisations also expressed their condolences, stating that Mr Spiteri had done plenty of work for both organisations and will be sorely missed.
