Hailing from Senglea, Michael Mercieca received his primary and secondary education at De La Salle College and later studied at the University of Reading, in the UK, specialising as a Projects and Contracts Manager as well as Quantity Surveyor.

Throughout his career, he worked in the construction, manufacturing, tourism and catering sectors.

“As Project Manager, I am responsible for the success of a construction project. Thus, I oversee every aspect, including the planning, execution, monitoring, control and closure. I also ensure that timeframe targets and budgets are met.

“In my role of Quantity Surveyor, I manage the costs on a construction project, help ensure that the construction project is completed within its projected budget and also price/forecast the cost of the different materials needed for the project. In addition, I prepare tender documents, contracts, budgets, bills of quantities and other documentation,” Mr Mercieca explains.

The San Ġwann-based company is engaged in project management, construction cost consultancy, interior designer and quantity surveying for major projects and corporate clients.
