Mario Gauci founded the business in 1984, initially importing used commercial vehicles from the UK and Europe. “However, with a lot of dedication and sound business decisions, together with my three children, we expanded and diversified swiftly into other related areas. Additionally, the company became more sophisticated, offering a variety of services and products to ensure that our clients receive a comprehensive custom,” he asserts.

Burmarrad Group is a leading company providing auto leasing, rentals, sales and aftersales services to corporate and private clients. It also runs a property arm, developing and selling real estate.

The only ISO 9001:2015-certified company in its industry - the certificate was awarded in 2008 – the Group carries out frequent risk assessments to ensure that health and safety regulations are complied with. Its workshops are certified by the Malta Standards Authority, the regulator responsible for the maintenance of standards in Malta.
