Ivor Puglisevich has worked in accounts with a number of local companies. He eventually joined the family business and progressed from Salesman to Sales Manager to Managing Director.

“In 2018, my wife and I bought the company from the other family members. Our goal is to increase our market share and take the company to the next level,” Mr Puglisevich says.

A father of two children, he is an avid biker, a musician as well as a tennis and golf player.

MCE Ltd was set up in 1976 in a one-room office in Birkirkara and focused on selling plastic raw material. In 1982, it moved to new premises in Valletta where it was given a new direction through the introduction of the Tooling Division, handling engineering cutting tools and measuring instruments. This was followed by the Electrical Division.

In 1990, it built MCE House and, in the following years, became involved in turnkey projects and in the stocking and distribution of commodity polyethylene plastics. Its Electrical Division became the Electrical and Plumbing Division. The added operations increased the demand for warehousing facilities and, in 2003, the second phase of MCE House, in Qormi, started.
