This week Wayne Pisani is celebrating his 14th anniversary at Grant Thornton.
Mr Pisani, who heads the Regulatory, Corporate and Financial Services section at the local affiliate of the global professional services network joined in 2007 as a director before becoming partner in 2013.
Reflecting on reaching the milestone, he said that “being part of the Grant Thornton family has been a great experience both in terms of personal growth and in terms of what we have achieved as a team”.
“I believe that we’ve progressed a lot, both in terms of our market presence locally and internationally”
Discussing how he’s seen the nation, and the industry, change over his time at Grant Thornton, he said, “throughout the past 14 years, I believe even the country has evolved, and Grant Thornton has become a key player in shaping the future both of our firm and our country”.
“Even at the present juncture”, he believes, the company is “helping Malta to continue forging ahead to earn the respect it deserves.”
Asked what he thinks the next 14 years hold for him, his colleagues and his countrymen, he acknowledged: “Ultimately, God knows what’s in store for us, but my hope is that we’ll continue building on what we’ve accomplished so far, and what our forefathers have achieved before”
“Hopefully we’ll leave a world which is better for our children and future generation than the one we have today”, Mr Pisani added.
“And hopefully I’ll still be a part of future success stories".
