Valentina Mizzi has been appointed Cluster Director of Conference and Events at InterContinental Malta and Holiday Inn Express, which is part of the InterContinental Hotels Group’s family of brands.

The St Julian’s five-star hotel is a favourite for conferences and events, offering guests over 5,000 sqm of space in 24 meeting rooms, including the InterContinental Arena Conference Centre.

Ms Mizzi first joined InterContinental Malta in March 2017 as a key account manager for the hotel’s MICE activities, progressing to key account director, Cluster Director of MICE events and, in June 2021, she was appointed to her current role.

She has extensive experience within Malta’s MICE and hotel sector, having worked with the Grand Hotel Excelsior in Valletta for six years, three of which as an assistant MICE manager.
