Terence Farrugia on Tuesday announced that he has been appointed Chief Pilot at Malta Maritime Pilots.
Captain Farrugia is a Master Mariner and Maritime Pilot who has worked in the maritime industry for a number of years.

He has worked at Malta Maritime Pilots for the past nine years, occupying roles such as Marine Pilot, Deputy Chief Pilot, and Senior Pilot.
Established in 2003, the Malta Maritime Pilots Cooperative offers marine vessel pilot services to Malta’s ports, namely the Grand Harbour, the Port of Marsaxlokk, Marsamxett Harbour, and the Port of Mġarr (Gozo). The cooperative also provides consultancies related to pilotage, navigation and seafaring.
Aside from that, Captain Farrugia is also Director and Guest Lecturer at MaritimeMT.
Throughout his career he has been responsible for guiding vessels through challenging waters to leading companies as Director.
Captain Farrugia holds a Master of Business Administration from Henley Business School.
