Global payments processing and technology provider, RS2, which has a strong presence in Malta through it’s Mosta office, has promoted former Head of Sales and Client Relationship Management David Amato to the position of Group Chief Implementation Officer.
David has held a variety of leadership roles throughout his 25-year career within RS2.
He joined the forward-looking company in 1997 as a Project Manager, and, in 2001, was appointed to head RS2’s Project Management teams in Malta and Germany.
David is credited with having introduced various project management methodologies within the company as well as the implementation of numerous projects at a global level.
As of December 2015, David has been entrusted to head the sales and client relationship teams for both RS2 Software plc and RS2 Smart Processing.
In his new role, he will lead the implementation of global projects, consolidating the deliverables from different RS2 departments and teams.
“David has a long track record of achievements in the various leadership positions he held at RS2 and excellent expertise in the implementation of projects. I am looking forward to working together with our entire team to continue and expedite our global expansion,” said Radi Abd El Haj, CEO of RS2.
On his appointment, David said: “I am thoroughly excited to take on the additional responsibilities as Group Chief Implementation Officer and appreciate the trust. I look forward to working closely with the team as we continue to drive our global footprint.”
