Rossopomodoro has confirmed the closure of its outlet in Triq il-Marina, Kalkara, in a message sent to WhosWho.mt.

Its other restaurants in Sliema, Shoreline Mall, and Imrieħel, are and will remain open. 

Rossopomodoro describes itself as the world’s largest chain of Neapolitan pizzerias, with over 100 restaurants in Italy and abroad. The brand states that its philosophy is built on three pillars: traditional Neapolitan craftsmanship, high-quality raw materials, and long-standing relationships with historic suppliers.

The group employs more than 3,000 people globally, including around 400 pizza chefs and chefs trained in the Neapolitan school, and is known for its focus on traditional Neapolitan cuisine and hospitality.

No further details were provided on the reasons behind the Kalkara outlet’s closure.
