As a Partner at Fenech & Fenech Advocates, I head the firm’s Tax & Immigration Law Department and form part of the Financial Services and Corporate Commercial Teams. I also sit on the firm’s Executive Committee and am part of the management team leading our corporate and trust services group, Fenlex.

I am an experienced tax and finance lawyer. I graduated as Doctor of Laws in 1993 and was later conferred a Master of Arts Degree in Financial Services by the University of Malta.

I advise a largely international clientele, working with both corporate and private clients. My main areas of practice include domestic and international taxation, wealth and succession planning, immigration law, corporate law, and trusts and foundations law.

I am a founder member, past Deputy President, past Chair of the Technical Committee, and Fellow of the Malta Institute of Taxation; a founding member of the STEP (Malta) and IFA (Malta) branches; an elected Council member and Honorary Secretary of the Institute of Financial Services Practitioners, as well as a member of its Tax sub-committee. I am also a member of the International Bar Association and the Chamber of Advocates.

World Tax (International Tax Review) has on several occasions ranked our firm and its Tax team as Malta’s recognised legal tax law practice in private client, tax, and tax controversy areas. Our team is also regularly ranked in Chambers as the leading law practice in Malta for high-net-worth clients. In addition, our firm is consistently recognised by Legal 500, IFLR 1000, and has won the Law Firm of the Year – Malta award at the Citywealth International Financial Awards for our private client work on a number of occasions.
