Business Profile
I graduated as a teacher in 2001 and taught across all levels of education from the primary up to doctoral level. Throughout my career, I have had different roles in various educational settings from Trade Schools to Primary, Secondary, Post-Secondary, Vocational and Tertiary Education. After nine years of teaching in a Church School, I worked in a VET setting, occupying various roles including six years in Senior Management up to Deputy Principal Curriculum and Student Affairs. I have also served as Senior 2 Lecturer at the Malta College of Arts, Science and Technology, MCAST and visiting lecturer on the Masters Programmes at the Institute for Education and the University of Malta. I am now Principal at IDEA College. I also lecture on the Doctorate of Business Administration and other Master programmes and I supervise research in various fields of study. My main research interests are Language Education, Further (Post-compulsory) Education and Educational Pedagogy and Policy within Vocational Education.
