Business Profile

As Joint-Managing Director and a second-generation owner of Laferla, I am involved in the management and running of the group’s various business interests, with the primary operation being the insurance operation headquartered in Valletta.

Having been one of the youngest members in the world to have graduated as an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute, in the UK, aged 19, I joined the family-run insurance firm in 2010, with a focus on expanding the brand and its reputation for excellent customer service.

Laying stress on a professional and personalised service, I am particularly involved with the corporate clients of Laferla Insurance, as well as the group’s expansion plans into other areas of business and foreign markets.

Besides my involvement in the family insurance operation, I am also the co-Founder and Director of a firm with activities in the aviation, maritime and engineering industries.

I am a Member of the Chamber of Commerce, Enterprise and Industry and a keen private pilot.
